The GT1749V Turbo comes fitted as standard to the 2.0 120 and 136 engines.
We offer two levels of GT1749V turbo:
1 – Standard GT1749V refurbished and upgraded from an original Garrett GT1749V turbo. This turbo will come with an uprated 360 degree thrust bearing which adds both strength and reliability. On top of this you get a 1 year Warranty from the date of Purchase against manufacturing defects.
2 – The Hybrid GT1749V comes with a 52mm compressor wheel. This offers excellent spool characteristics whilst delivering enough air for 220 BHP plus at the top end. The turbo comes with the upgraded 360 degree thrust bearing which means we can run higher boost whilst not compromising on reliability. Our 2 year warranty will cover any build defects. So far we’ve never needed to do a warranty claim on one of these, they are really strong turbos and our turbo builder has great customer care.
