The Peugeot RCZ 2.0 HDI is a beautiful car, yet it lacks the power it needs from the factory. That’s where HDI Tuning come in, we’ve developed customised performance software specifically for the Peugeot RCZ 2.0 HDI 163 BHP variant.
The Peugeot RCZ 2.0 HDI 163 uses a Delphi DCM3.5 ECU, this meets EU 5 emissions standards and runs with both a Deisel Particulate Filter (DPF) and also Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). The Delphi DCM3.5 is a somewhat complicated ECU with multiple levels of tuning protection, so this one requires an experienced tuning professional to carry out a remap properly.
Our Delphi DCM3.5 Stage 1 Remap was developed and tested in house over many months of testing to give the perfect balance of response, torque and top end power whilst staying well within the safe limits of the engine. The stage 1 remap will deliver 190BHP and a massive torque increase to 420Nm. For Auto models we recommend a torque capped remap to 390Nm just to stay on the safe side.
Our remap delivers a big chunk of torque more than other tuning companies offer for the DCM3.5 ECU, this is the result of painstaking development work to unlock all of the ‘anti tune protection’ within the ECU and overcome all of the ECUs limitations, you won’t find software like this from any other companies.
For many owners who only undertake short journeys the DPF can block and become troublesome. Other considerations to take in to account if you’re having DPF problems are the knock on effects to other components, it’s common for the VNT inside the turbo to block up with soot and this can cause either low boost, or over boosting problems which must be rectified to avoid damaging the turbo. Fortunately the VNT can usually be cleaned using an off the shelf VNT cleaner spray which can be sprayed directly in to the turbo to remove carbon deposits.
