Description
When tuning Stage 2 and above we need to run more boost pressure than the standard sensor can read, that’s when a MAP sensor upgrade is required.
This sensor can be used as an upgrade on most cars up to 2010, it reads to 3.1 bar absolute, which is 2.1 bar of gauge pressure (- 1 bar atmo).
To use this sensor you must also remap the ECU to account for the new calibration, there will be a fault code until the software has been modified, so wait until you have your remap ready to install it.
Fitment is the same as the PSA 2.5 bar sensor, but you must scrape a little plastic from the alignment tab on the male side of the electrical connector.
We supply an OEM quality Delphi sensor and not a cheap replica version.
