Stage 1 Torque

The Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDI 100 comes with the Bosch MD1 control system. This complex ECU does call for a skilled tuner to tweak the torque model properly and the ECU will need bench programming. Most tuning devices can achieve this through bench service mode, which means the ECU doesn’t have to be opened. When you get the vehicle to our workshop or ship us the ECU, we’ll manage the technicalities. Additionally, our online service is available if you’ve got an appropriate programming tool.

The 1.5 Blue HDI is also equipped with systems like EGR, SCR/AdBlue, and a DPF system. Opting for a HDI Tuning remap lets you keep all these systems operational. Our Stage 1 remap is crafted for clean operation, so the chances of the particle filter getting congested are minimized.

Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDI 100 Stage 1 Remap (130 BHP | 300 Nm)

Our efforts have been consistent in bringing forward the optimal remap for the Peugeot 308 1.5 DV5RD BlueHDI Engine. The Stage 1 remap confidently boosts your power to 130 BHP, and the torque peaks at a thrilling 300Nm while maintaining a smooth torque progression.
This remap’s torque profile has been modeled around the 130 BHP factory configurations, assuring you of top-notch performance and reliability from your Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDI 100.

The Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDI 100 engine is fitted with the MHI TD02L11 wastegate-regulated turbocharger. It’s renowned for its quick spooling and has been tested over time with the 1.6 eHDI and 1.6 BlueHDI models, receiving minor adaptations for the 1.5 HDI Engine. We apply a modest turbo pressure bump, well within the proven limits of the TD02 turbo.

When out on the road with your Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDI, you’ll notice the refined throttle response, an increase in low-range torque, and a continued torque boost at higher RPMs. These enhancements make your Peugeot 308 an absolute joy to drive, and we’re confident you’ll love the upgrade.

Programming Methods – bench programming

The Bosch MD1 ECU can be programmed using Bitbox and a Scanmatik 2 device.

Programming via Bench service mode over CAN with Bitbox

This is our preferred way to program. The ECU must be removed, but there is no need to open the ECU and risk damage. A full backup can be made of both the EEPROM and the internal flash memories.

  • Order a Scanmatik 2 Pro J2534 programming device and a Bitbox dongle with the MD1 license.
  • Remove ECU from the vehicle.
  • Connect specified wires to ECU plug connector.
  • ID the ECU.
  • Read the ECU memories.
  • Email software to HDI Tuning.
  • Wait for us to prepare your remap and return it back to you.
  • Program the remap to the ECU using the same method taken to read the ECU.
  • Refit the ECU, check engine starts.
  • Let your engine warm up and then take the car for a spin, enjoy the extra power!
