From 2015 onwards the Peugeot 308 came fitted with the latest Euro 6 2.0 BlueHDI engine (DW10 FC) which was available in two power variants. The 150 BHP model comes with a decent 370Nm of torque. The 150 variant is actually a down tuned version of the 180 engine which comes with 400Nm of torque.
The good news is that these two engines are identical, only the software on the ECU is different. This allows us to give a huge increase in power on the Stage 1 remap whilst remaining totally safe for the engine’s components. The Stage 1 remap offers 203 BHP and 440Nm of Torque, which will certainly make your Peugeot 308 a lot more fun to drive. We’ve also tested this power level with the automatic gearbox and confirm it’s safe to run and will not have any adverse effects.
The control unit of the EU6 compliant 2.0 BlueHDI engine is the DCM6.2A produced by Delphi. It’s a very advanced system with multiple layers of ‘tuning protection’, so it’s important to use a tuner with the skills and knowledge to set up the system correctly.
Correct tuning of the torque model within the ECU will keep your car driving like it’s a newer more powerful version whilst maintaining excellent fuel economy and reliability.
Our 2.0 BlueHDI 150 Stage 1 remapped software for the Peugeot 308 DCM6.2 ECU was developed in house using advanced tuning techniques and complex calculations to enable optimal power and performance whilst keeping within OEM programming standards and honouring all the anti-tune protection maps. To put it simply, this keeps the car driving perfectly like it would with factory developed calibrations for a more powerful engine and offers maximal reliability but most importantly, makes the car wonderful to drive.
ECU Programming Options: If you have this type of ECU you’ll need specialized programming equipment which you can find at all our workshops. Additionally, you now have the option to tune your ECU from home using the Dimsport MyGenius tool, available for purchase through our webshop.
